We Make Life Easier

We provide complete equipment control and monitoring solutions using programming and integration.

Panels and Programming

We provide complete equipment control and monitoring solutions, using programming and integration. We use SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) and its sub-systems:

  • HMI (Human Machine Interface)
  • PLC (Programmable Logic Controller)
  • RTUs (Remote Telemetry Units)

These are designed not only to present you with processed data, but actually allow you to interact with the process — SCADA even sends alerts in the event of hazardous conditions. Using AutoCAD Electrical for consistency in the design set, we ensure that every system meets all NEC, NFPA, and UL 508a quality and safety requirements. These programs are often paired with our custom-constructed UL 508a certified panels.

Confused?  It’s ok, we’re not. We’ll handle everything and send you the bill.

Wynn Las Vegas

Las Vegas is not known for its cool climate. The Wynn hotel in Las Vegas asked us to automate their outdoor misters and keep visitors cool. We programmed a system that would turn on/off based on current temperature and humidity. The pressure drops triggered Wynn’s reverse osmosis system to deliver clean water to the misting systems.

For NASA, we designed a VFD (variable frequency drive) cooling system. Depending on liquid temperature, our VFD-controlled fans either sped up or slowed down — regulating the temperature. And before you ask, no. We don’t know what the liquid was or what it was for. Because it’s NASA.

City of Tempe

We designed eight wastewater lift stations for City of Tempe water treatment facilities. Huge pumps bring the gravity-transferred waste to the surface, and we integrated sensors inside the lift station pits. When the pits are full, these sensors trigger our VFDs and turn the pumps on to prevent overflow….and a really crappy situation.

We worked with Chevron on their Australian Gorgon project. Chevron asked us to install seven basic radiator disconnect units, to which they attached temperature-induced VFDs. We also integrated a vibration switch designed to shut the system down if equipment started to shake beyond a normal level. Of course, safety is always a primary concern — so we made them explosion-proof.  No big deal.

No one likes a leak in their manufacturing plant. Intel hired us to install motor controls on a miniature lift station designed to take the excess water and dump it into a larger tank. We installed the project ourselves in their clean-room environment. Yup, hair net/suit and everything.

We all know oil and water do not mix, and SRP needed to separate the two. For that project, we installed controls on lift station pumps. This system waited for the oil and water to separate, then pumped the water right out from under the oil.

For Dubai, India, we worked on a Programmable Logic Controller in their odor control system. Dubai designed a tower housing bacteria that feeds off of waste in the air — producing clean, usable air. Our system controlled the nutrient-infused water pumped into the tower (to keep the bacteria alive). We also monitored the quality of the water that collected at the end of the process to gauge the health of the little critters.

We Really Listen

Just because we’re experts in the control system realm doesn’t mean we assume to know more about your problem than you do. Pre-project due diligence means listening to you (not just nodding — waiting for a chance to pitch a sale). We’re not here to make a quick buck. We’re not here to upsell you. We value your time and your intelligence, so we’ll be honest and direct.

We Do It Right

This is the system you only have to install once. For us, it’s not good enough if it’s not perfect. Believe it or not, we’ve seen some shoddy installs in our time. Do yourself a favor and let the experts handle your project. You don’t have time for some jerry-rigged contraption that breaks as soon as you get it home. You don’t need that drama.

We Follow Up

We make ourselves available to you even after your project is finished. If you run into problems, or something changes, we’ll be right at the other end of a phone call. And hey, we’re no strangers to field service, support, and troubleshooting. Our expert team is well-equipped to diagnose and repair any issues with your system.
